Min. Jerneice Gray

Jerneice Gray—born by the river, a St. Louis native— is married, a mother, and a proud grandmother. She lives to serve with a heart of love and a joyful spirit. This compassionate leader started in ministry in 1983 as the first female minister at her local church.  Her call to the marketplace and ministry inspired her to pursue degrees in Tourism Business Management and Biblical Studies.

Jerneice's outreach efforts have been far-reaching and impactful, having worked as a hospice chaplain. Since 2004, she volunteers annually traveling globally with Youth on a Mission. In addition to all of this, she is an overseer for a women’s ministry in Costa Rica.

Providence caused her to path to unite with Episcopal City Mission as a juvenile chaplain to empower and inspire positive change in the lives of our youth.

She serves God to glorify God.
