The Rev. Erika Jackson-Essiem
The Rev. Erika Jackson – Essiem was ordained in the Episcopal Diocese of Northern Indiana in July 2020 and moved to the Diocese of Missouri in June 2021. Rev. Erika is currently working as the Intake Coordinator for The Core Collective at St. Vincent, a shelter for homeless and displaced teenagers. Rev. Erika is also a volunteer Chaplain at the St. Louis City Justice Center, working with Juveniles who have been certified as adults.
Outside of her work life, Rev. Erika is a mother of two children, Micah Jackson and Morgan “Achilles” Jackson, and two grandchildren, Micah, Jr. and Malaya. When she is not working, you can find her reading or knitting to pass the time.
