Dr. Dobbie Herrion, Ed.D

Dr. Dobbie Herrion’s journey has been shaped by education, inquiry, and a deep search for meaning. After more than two decades in higher education leadership and community engagement, a brief engagement with stoicism and philosophy stirred deeper questions about purpose and presence—questions that ultimately led him to God.

For the past eight years, his faith has kept him vigilant and attentive to God’s ongoing presence in his life and work. He holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Higher Education Leadership from Maryville University and is the author of two books—one focused on trusting God and the other on relationship building. His work sits at the intersection of leadership, spiritual formation, and community healing.

Dr. Herrion is married to a wonderful wife of 11 years and is the proud father of two sons—one attending the University of Missouri (Mizzou) and the other attending Metro Academic and Classical High School. He approaches ministry and accompaniment as a practice of listening, discernment, and faithful presence.
